Central Student Ministries exists to see students and leaders develop into radical, real-life, life-long followers of Jesus Christ who revive the church and change the world!
Relationships are everything!
At CSM we strive to be excellent in relationships and excellent in the way we share our lives! We want to see every student, no mater their background, have the opportunity to experience Jesus' Presence and to be enfolded into a community of people who Love God and Love people. This year as we journey through the story of the Bible we want to look through the lens of seeking to understand the truths about who God says He is and who God says we are!
What We Do…
We meet pretty much every Friday night at Central@Connors Hill (9419 - 95 St) from 7pm to 10pm. Our events are always published on our calendar as well as in our weekly mailout. No matter what we're doing, we try to allow our activities to facilitate excellent relationships!
WASHBASIN
We figure that if you want to follow Jesus there are some things that likely should show up in your life. Those include: Worship, Accountability, Service, Hang-Time with God, and Bible. Typically WASHBASIN will take place twice a month. A normal WASHBASIN night will look something like this: Dumb games, Worship, Word, Small Groups.
ECHELON
Echelon is our more intense discipleship/servanthood/leadership program. Students wishing to be a part of Echelon will be required to apply as well as maintain certain commitments. Applications for Echelon are typically available near the end of September.
Echelon meets on Wednesday evenings at Central@Connors Hill (9419 - 95 St).
FRIDAY NIGHT FUN
At least once a month we get together for a big ol' party of a good time. Sometimes we head offsite for these, other times we use our own space. Details for these nights are always available on the calendar and the mailout.
TIJUANA
Every two years we take a team down to Tijuana, Mexico with YWAM. Our next trip is going to be August, 2013. Details here.
