Central Student Ministries exists to see students and leaders develop into radical, real-life disciples of Jesus Christ who revive the church and change the world!
RELATIONSHIPS ARE EVERYTHING!
At CSM we strive to be excellent in relationships and excellent in the way we share our lives. We want to see every student, no matter their background, have the opportunity to be enfolded into a community of people who Love God and Love people!
There are four major principles that drive everything that we do…
Share our Lives. Believing that everything happens best in the context of relationship, we are intentional to share life and not just space!
Many times when we get together for activities the primary objective is to build and cultivate relationships.
Enfold People. We want to share our lives with anyone, not just those who are already a part of CSM. Our students consistently say that the thing they value most about CSM is the relationships and the community that exists here.
We want to then be sure to be a place where friends who perhaps don’t share the same “churched” background feel comfortable and feel open to joining us in whatever we are doing.
Serving People. We want to be sure to not only exist for ourselves, but to care for and serve those around us! Whether in a large group setting or as a HOUSE NIGHT group we want to continually be cultivating a servant-hearted posture.
Engage with God. Jesus is the reason for all we do – He is the reason for our very lives. He is in every part of our lives.
We want everything we do to be about our pursuit of Jesus, whether that means we’re playing Laser Tag with friends or we’re studying the Word! Throughout our times spent together the way we Engage with God will take many different forms.
We desire to journey with our students into an understanding that every part of lives can be a part of our journey towards Jesus and not just our “churchy” times.
As we discuss God’s Truths and the Person of Jesus Christ we will seek to continually move conversations to a place of personal application and personal discovery. We want to always keep it real!
Housenights are the backbone of everything that we do! Rather than meeting at the church we meet in homes throughout the city where we try hard to live out the values of Sharing our LIves, Enfolding people, Serving Poeple and Engaging with God.
Every Wednesday from 6:45 pm-8:45 pm, Three Houses, Grade 7/8, Grade 9/10, Grade 11/12

Washbasin exists to encourage and develop in our students a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Once a month we meet together at the church with everyone (Jr and Sr. High and Leaders) to play some fun mixer games, have a time of worship, hear some words from the Word and spend some time in small groups.
One Friday a month - NO YOUTH FRIDAYS. Once a month we take a break from our regular Friday schedule. We do this to give our students and staff a break and also to give our students the freedom to hang out with their friends from school. Too often we invite our friends and expect them to come to us when we are either too busy or too unwilling to go to them. Our students are encouraged to find out what their friends are doing, and do that! If that doesn’t work out, we all know that we could use more time spent as a family. Call it family night then!
Friday Night Activities. Other than our NO YOUTH FRIDAYS, we meet every Friday from 7:00pm-10:00pm (unless otherwise specified). These activities vary widely – sometimes Jr. and Sr. High together, sometimes separate, sometime at Central, sometimes offsite.
